Cancellation and Refund Policy

  Wherever the context so appears as MMCL, the same may be read as Malayala Manorama Company Private Limited.

  MMCL reserves the right to refuse/cancel any order.

  MMCL at its sole discretion may cancel any order(s):

     i. If it suspects a fraudulent transaction, or

     ii. If it suspects a customer has undertaken a transaction which is not in accordance with the Terms of Use or

     iii. For any reason outside the control of the MMCL including causes for delay, difficulty or inability in 
          publication/release of advertisement . Refund/cancellation policies applicable in the following conditions:

         a) In case, the buyer cancels the order online before the advertisement has been published/released,
            the entire order amount will be refunded.

         b) The order of the classified service stands cancelled automatically if the entire amount towards the service 
            has not been completely credited into the accounts of MMCL.

         c) The order shall remain valid if the classified has published on the basis of verified and accepted creative,
            matter, content or data of the advertisement ordered and the same has been published as agreed, no refund shall
            be made under such circumstances.

         d) Refund shall be made on pro-rata basis in case, the ads could not released/published as per the order form in any
            or all of the editions under any circumstances which are beyond the control of MMCL, its management and personnel
            if any made will be against the pro-rata basis of the editions so missed out to be published.

         e) However, the order once published cannot be cancelled and no amount would be refunded in any case except in case
            of any irregularity or mistake has been crept into the matter due to the default of the Customer/agent 
            ordering classified.

         d) In case of failed transactions due to technical or other issues or double realization of account for the same
            order, the total deducted amount will be refunded, provided the payment has been reflected in the accounts of
            MMCL, and such refund shall be made only after 7 working days.

         f) In case of cancelled order/failed transactions, the bank/card transaction charges of the buyer, if any, shall be
            adjusted by MMCL.

         g) MMCL offers no guarantees whatsoever for the accuracy or timeliness of the refunds in the buyers card/account,
            if payment failure happens and the refund has to be processed by the Credit Card/Online Payment service 
            provider or operating platform.

         h) In case of disputes on charges paid for any special facilities, such charges corresponding to the cancelled 
            special facilities alone shall be refunded.

         i) Subject to the above, in case of part cancellations, the amount refunded will be corresponding to the 
            part cancellation.
